Recap - SWE GBM 1

Wednesday, October 7, 2009

Thanks to all those that came to our first GBM! Another big thank you to all those that signed up at our GBM and at the TESC organization fair, as well!

Sorry about running out of pizza, we'll do a better job next time.

Anyway, as a recap, the GBM introduced members to that importance of getting involved in pre-professional groups such as SWE.

If you'd like you can join the national chapter for $20 a year. Becoming an official member to the national group provides with you additional opportunities to find internships, jobs, and pre-professional resources. Members of the national org are automatically signed up for a SWE magazine and newsletter. The sign-up page can be found here: Join SWE National

SWE UCSD is selling T-shirts! For $15, you can own SWE UCSD apparel. Come to any of our meetings, and we'll hand you a shirt, it's as easy as that.

Last but not least, join our Facebook group! It's a great way to find out about events and updates. You can find us here: SWE UCSD Facebook Group

Sadly, you can't find us on Twitter.
