- Hello SWEbees,This is to inform you all about the SWE Scholarship opportunity. Attached is the application that needs to be filled out and emailed to e2wang@ucsd.edu before (May 24th). The scholarship recipient will be announced at the SWE recognition banquet on May 31st and will receive a ($250) award. National SWE membership is a requirement to be eligible. If you are not yet a member of national SWE, you can do so here.
We hope that you seize this opportunity to showcase your involvement and passion for SWE.

- "UCSD Women in Computing is looking for volunteers for their outreach event, Girl's Day Out, this Saturday, April 20th! Shifts are one hour each, starting from 8:00am ending at 4:00pm. The agenda for the days events include keynotes and an industry panel, lab tours at Calit2, an Android app activity, and lunch. - Officer applications due Friday, April 5th, at 11:59PM (End of spring quarter, week 1). Elections on April 11th at 6:30PM in Henry Booker Room (to be confirmed). Officer training on April 27th.
